For the ninth consecutive year, the company has been named one of the world’s most ethical by the Ethisphere Institute.
Prudential has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for the ninth straight year by the Ethisphere Institute®, a global leader in defining and advancing standards of ethical business practices. Prudential was one of seven financial services firms among 135 honorees spread across 19 countries and 46 industries.
“To be recognized for nine consecutive years as a company committed to doing business the right way is a testament to our commitment to living by our principles and core values,” noted Chairman and CEO Charles Lowrey. “Fulfilling our purpose and vision, and our promises to our customers and stakeholders, requires that we work with integrity, every day.”
Ethisphere’s assessment includes more than 200 questions on culture, environmental and social practices, ethics and compliance activities, governance and diversity.
“To receive this honor for the ninth year in a row makes me proud of our employees’ commitment to ethical behavior,” said Prudential’s General Counsel Ann Kappler. “It’s also a reflection of how imperative it is to continue to lead with integrity in today’s environment.”
